Half Moon Run & FILMharmonic Orchestra
Grand Théâtre de Québec
Blending the raw intimacy of indie rock with the richness of a symphony orchestra, Half Moon Run & the FILMharmonic Orchestra immerse the audience in the band's universe like never before, with vibrant energy and captivating sounds. Under the direction of conductor Francis Choinière, Half Moon Run's most memorable songs are reinterpreted in grandiose symphonic forms, transforming their unique sound into an immersive and profoundly striking experience. Thanks to the brilliant arrangements by Blair Thomson, strings and brass intertwine with percussion and enchanting vocals, revealing new emotional nuances with each note. At the heart of it all, the instinctive chemistry of Devon Portielje, Conner Molander, and Dylan Phillips is felt, a silent connection that supports and responds to the orchestra's power with intensity and subtlety.
