Visages
Carrefour International de Théâtre
After the success of Les Hardings and its unforgettable trio, Alexia Bürger presents her latest creation: Visages. By assembling a fresco of small and large lived stories, each narrative raises a volley of questions about our relationship with the face: Is it a mask or a mirror? We meet a perfect double of Vladimir Putin, a fervent defender of the Ukrainian cause. We worry with a man suffering from a disease that deforms the faces of his loved ones. We accompany a woman in her drawing class in Florence. Sometimes comical, sometimes tragic, the magnetic cast of performers abandons themselves without reservation to the game of self-multiplication and erasure.
