Jourdan Thibodeaux & Les Rôdailleurs
Grand Théâtre de Québec
Jourdan Thibodeaux is the embodiment of the word "authentic." Straight from the swampy woods of Cypress Island, Louisiana, he is one of the few young people who still speak Cajun fluently today. His powerful singing and fiddle playing brilliantly and sincerely accompany his repertoire of original songs in Louisiana French. Featured at the New Orleans Jazz Fest, South by Southwest in Austin, and the Congrès Mondial Acadien, the ensemble Jourdan Thibodeaux et Les Rôdailleurs has built a reputation across the United States by uniting ancient traditions with incomparable energy. The Rôdailleurs are, moreover, the quintessential Cajun musicians (and Grammy nominees!) Joel Savoy, Cedric Watson, Alan Lafleur, and Adam Cormier. Meet them and feel the pulse of true, contemporary Cajun music! A presentation by the Grand Théâtre de Québec
