The Grands Feux Loto-Québec present grandiose events combining fireworks and musical and artistic performances, all for free! The fireworks are produced in the heart of the St. Lawrence River, an exceptional site allowing the populations of both shores to connect. The sites at Place des Canotiers, on the Quebec side, and Quai Paquet in Lévis come alive starting at 6 p.m. with musical groups, singer-songwriters, and food trucks, while the fireworks take place at 10 p.m. Programmation • August 4 – Opening Night: Rock 'N' Roll Musical performances, air guitar contests, tattoos, and rock classics in an electrifying atmosphere. • August 6 – Fiesta Latina Show, Latin dancing, karaoke, and festive atmosphere in the colors and rhythms of Latin America. • August 11 – Corn Roast Fresh corn, singer-songwriters, and Quebec classics for a gourmet and unifying evening. • August 13 – Halloween Costumes, themed entertainment, mask decorating, and best costume contest. • August 15 – New Country Line dancing, lasso throwing, mechanical bull, and festive western atmosphere starting at noon. • August 18 – Cosmos Virtual reality, galactic makeup, and activities inspired by the universe and space exploration. • August 20 – Platinum Electro DJ, neon lights, bracelets, and electro rhythms for a colorful evening. • August 22 – Grand Finale: 30th Anniversary Giant cake, family entertainment, and spectacular fireworks to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Grands Feux Loto-Québec. The best places to see the fireworks for free from Quebec City: Several sites allow you to enjoy the fireworks while discovering the city from another angle. • Place des Canotiers: located on the riverbank, it offers an unobstructed view of the sky with the Château Frontenac in the background. It is the official site of the Grands Feux, where themed entertainment is offered each evening. • Terrasse Dufferin: this iconic promenade at the foot of the Château Frontenac allows you to admire the fireworks in a lively and animated atmosphere. • Parc Montmorency: quieter, this park offers a green space to observe the illuminated sky while remaining close to the activities of Old Quebec. • Terrasse Pierre-Dugua-De Mons: perched on the heights, it is renowned for its exceptional panoramic view of the city and the river, perfect for contemplating the fireworks in all their splendor.
