Mariana Mazza
Salle Albert-Rousseau
Humor — For her third show, Foie Gras, Mariana Mazza decides to express herself with her head and her heart… for a change. In this very personal one-woman show, the young girl who grew up in Montréal-Nord, now a bourgeois woman living in Saint-Lambert with her poodles and unsold paintings, is as brilliant as she is hilarious. Being used to saying things only to provoke laughter, she wants to go further this time and make a public coming out: she is emotional and vulnerable. The chihuahua on Red Bull is officially replaced by the tank with a porcelain heart. As she so aptly puts it: “I’m the best, tabarnak!” Yes, Mariana has changed. But by how much? Approximate show duration: 1 hour 45 minutes without intermission.
