Pour une dernière voix
Grand Théâtre de Québec
Immerse yourself in Pierre Verville's unique universe with "Pour une dernière voix," a solo show blending humor and impersonations, oscillating between fiction and reality. Pierre, in his magnificent sleepless delirium, imagines himself on stage as a radio host recounting his own life, while his audience is right there in the room, in front of him… Through his evocations, Pierre revisits his childhood memories and his eventful career, brilliantly embodying iconic figures of Quebec culture. This is his farewell to the solo stage. Co-written with Pierre-Michel Tremblay, "Pour une dernière voix" offers a journey from the 1960s to the present day, featuring François Legault, Michel Tremblay, Luc Plamondon, Robert Charlebois, and many others. A tender and humorous show where Pierre Verville's personal journey intertwines with our collective history. He is accompanied on stage by musician Nadine Turbide. A fixture on the cultural scene for over 40 years – he started at "Lundis des ha ha!" in 1983 – the comedian and actor has a wealth of experience, which he intends to draw from liberally for this final show. Pierre Verville was one of the stars of the radio show "À la semaine prochaine," which recently ended after 17 seasons on Radio-Canada. He also plays Marc Duchesne in the series "Ravages," broadcast on Illico, and was warmly acclaimed this summer at Véronique Claveau's gala at the Juste pour rire Québec festival.
