Biography of Mario Cyr Filmmaker, photographer, explorer, and diver, Mario Cyr has earned international recognition: he is one of the few people to have braved the Arctic's icy waters to film marine life in its natural habitat, including polar bears, belugas, narwhals, and walruses. As an underwater cameraman, he has participated in over 190 documentaries and films for various television channels and the film industry. With over 1,000 presentations to his credit over the last 20 years, Mario Cyr captivates audiences at home and abroad. After presenting "L’Odyssée sous les glaces" during the 2024-2025 season, he returns this year to present a photo and video conference on his expeditions.
