Dom Juan au Théâtre du Trident
Théâtre du Trident
Seven minutes. That's what management proposes: to cut seven minutes from a break that only lasts fifteen. The eleven union representatives have sixty minutes to seal the fate of their colleagues. One hour to make a crucial decision: agree to sacrifice seven minutes a day in exchange for the promise, not guaranteed, that no one will be laid off. Eleven women. Eleven stories. Eleven ways to be afraid, to hope, to resist or to bend. In the factory committee room, voices clash, silences weigh tons, and the strongest convictions begin to waver. Should we say yes to protect the most vulnerable? Say no to avoid betraying those who have given everything to win these rights? And can a seven-minute compromise shake what generations have spent decades building? At the very heart of this vertigo, solidarity and survival watch each other in cold silence.
