Embark on a vibrant journey along a mythical route! Biography of Nicolas Pernot Nicolas Pernot is a photographer, documentary filmmaker, and lecturer. For over 10 years, he has traveled through Central Asia and the Caucasus, where he spends extended periods. After living for several years in Tajikistan and on the shores of Lake Baikal, he settled in Georgia in 2020. His experiences offer a close look at societies from the former Soviet world, their cultural heritage, and their contemporary balance. He favors proximity, nuance, and a sensitive approach to the territories. Each project results in a documentary film and a photographic book presented during his tours in France, Switzerland, Belgium, and Canada as part of The Great Explorers. Previously, he presented Georgia and, more recently, Armenia to the Quebec public.
