Open to all, this artistic performance evening will be accompanied by a cocktail reception and will be presided over by Philippe P. Huneault, alongside Anne-Marie Olivier as co-spokesperson. Spectators will be able to explore the floors of Le Diamant to discover eight secrets, confided by the performers in unusual locations within the building. Learn more about the creation of the Jardins secrets painting • • In 2009, as part of the very first edition of Où tu vas quand tu dors en marchant, Véronique Côté and Steve Gagnon collected secrets from the citizens of Quebec City. On the evening of the performance, dozens of beds were set up in Parc Lucien-Borne. Spectators moved from bed to bed, sitting alongside the performers, who would share a confidence. From this event and collaboration between the two authors, the collection Chaque automne j’ai envie de mourir was born, gathering thirty-seven secrets inspired by the many people who were willing to share a part of themselves. This book, published by Hamac in 2012, was shortlisted for the Prix des libraires.
