TERRE DES HOMMES
December 29th, 1935. Antoine, an airplane pilot for the postal service, crashes in the Sahara Desert. On the brink of death, he reflects, remakes the world with tenderness, and reconsiders humans from all angles. He speaks with a curious fennec, discovers uncatalogued constellations, gets drunk on the mysterious oasis water, and opens his heart to the desert shadows. Yes! It's a true story! Unless it's dehydration... What to do? Die within a few hours or walk east-northeast? Towards life... Inspired by the work of Saint-Exupéry, Terre des Hommes is a sensitive multidisciplinary creation where the central character, along with three manipulators, sculpts space using objects, puppets, and shadows, creating the story before your eyes.
