How far are we willing to go to satisfy the demands of a productivist system? What Will Remain of the Prey Species questions the limits of the employee body, the human machine, and exhaustible ecosystems. In a hybrid space between an office and wild territories, this scenic project engages in dialogue with Mireille Gagné's novel Le lièvre d’Amérique (The American Hare). Driven by a group of performers, designers, and researchers, the creation is part of the tradition of so-called research-creation artistic practices to explore the excesses of neoliberalism on living beings. What will remain of the prey species when the desire to produce, ever greater, has pushed them to extinction?
