NIN
Come and discover the Anicinabe language through those who keep it alive! The word NIN means "I am." In a single voice, Anicinabe knowledge keepers invite you to walk the paths of a symbolic forest formed by names, values, and stories. One word at a time, embark on a path of regeneration and healing inspired by the cycle of life. One step at a time, come and discover the Anicinabe language, through those who keep it alive. NIN is a sensitive journey bringing together stories, artworks, and interactive experiences. NIN is a poetic entry into the Anicinabe way of being in the world. Conceived and produced by the cultural organization MINWASHIN for the International Decade of Indigenous Languages, the NIN exhibition mobilizes the creative forces of the Anicinabe nation and its allies to celebrate the strength and beauty of Anicinabemowin, the Anicinabe language.
