Jean-Michel Anctil
Salle Albert-Rousseau
Humor — Jean-Michel Anctil is back. He returns to the stage in the fall of 2026 to celebrate his 60th birthday in grand style. To mark the occasion, he will present a brand new show, limited to only 60 performances, to celebrate, laugh, and reconnect. After several years away from the solo stage, Jean-Michel returns with a true event show themed around celebration. Not an ordinary tour. A limited series. An unashamed grand celebration. On the program: brand new material, revisited favorite bits, and the return of characters like Râteau and Priscillia, who marked a generation. With the experience, freedom, and perspective of his 60 years, he tackles the passage of time, life, and its surprises, always with his signature style: funny, human, touching. "I didn't want a comeback. I wanted a reunion." — Jean-Michel Anctil And because a 60th birthday is a big celebration, each performance will hold a surprise. A mystery guest will surprise him on stage during the show. Different guests will appear throughout the tour, for unique, sometimes unpredictable moments. To bring this production to life, Jean-Michel surrounds himself with a trusted team. He collaborates with Monarque, a producer known for his major successes such as Le Dîner de Cons, Les Voisins, Québec-Montréal, and La Pièce qui tourne mal. He has entrusted the direction to his longtime friend, André Robitaille, and relies on the collaboration of Simon Delisle and Sébastien Ouellet for the writing. A solid team for a comeback worthy of the event. SURPRISE... It's my birthday! A evening filled with twists and turns where Jean-Michel will have carte blanche to enjoy himself and share this special moment with the audience that has always supported him, he who has crossed the historic milestone of one million spectators in his career. A brilliant return. 60 performances only. After that, it will be too late.
