Dead Obies has been a pillar of Quebec hip-hop for the past fifteen years, having helped establish rap as a major force in popular culture. Since 2013, the album Montréal $ud marked a turning point on the local scene, followed in 2016 by Gesamtkunstwerk, which led to a series of sold-out shows, including a full MTELUS. With DEAD. (2019), the group closed a chapter to reinvent itself. After a five-year hiatus, Dead Obies is preparing for a highly anticipated return to the stage.
