Scène Crave – Place D’Youville
Heron is the neo-folkloric project of singer-songwriter Henri Kinkead, paying homage to Quebec's musical roots through intimate and enveloping songs. He revalues this heritage through a queer and contemporary lens, infusing it with a modern and personal vision. Between Joni Mitchell-esque folk, indie rock, and Louis Boudreault's reels, his compositions reveal carefully crafted melodies. A finalist at the Francouvertes in 2023, Henri fully reveals himself with Heron and will present his EP Bras Solaires in the fall of 2025.
