Ménopause
Salle Albert-Rousseau
Theater — The famous musical parody Ménopause, presented by Vitoli, arrives for the very first time in Quebec! On display for over 15 years in Las Vegas, triumphant in Paris for 2 years, and applauded by nearly 17 million people in 16 countries, this festive show takes a hilarious and sincere look at what women experience when they go through menopause. Starring the talented Guylaine Tanguay, Claudine Mercier, Geneviève Charest, and Catherine Sénart, with staging by Alexis Pitkevicht, Ménopause, the musical parody will make you laugh out loud, but also sing and dance to parodies of great English-language hits from the 60s, 70s, and 80s that you love, with humorous French adaptations by the prolific Danièle Lorain. Memory loss, hot flashes, night sweats, inert… or too active sex life! When four women from very different backgrounds meet by chance at a lingerie sale, they realize they share at least one thing: menopause. After all, menopausal women are all in the same boat… better to laugh about it and turn this taboo subject into a celebration filled with lightness and sisterhood! Psst: Men are also welcome, as they can finally better understand what the women in their lives are going through… while laughing with them! Ménopause, the global success that defies the rules!
