One summer, Nagisa, a city dweller, and Natsuo, a young man visiting relatives, meet by the sea. Their hesitant glances echo each other as they exchange awkward words and become one with the ocean, in the rain. In winter, Li, a screenwriter suffering from writer's block, travels to a snowy village with an old camera left behind by a deceased acquaintance. She discovers a rather dilapidated inn run by the enigmatic Benzo. They struggle to understand each other, yet embark on an unexpected adventure.
