École expérimentale de L’Œil de Poisson
Complexe Méduse
The Experimental School is a living laboratory of collective ideation bringing together a cohort of artists, thinkers, and cultural interveners. A short intensive program consisting of workshops, excursions, discussions, interventions, installations, conferences, and performances, the Experimental School seeks to develop alternative, collective, and artistic knowledge. Open to all and connected to public space, the School acts within the immediate territory while desiring to mix the knowledge and practices of artists from here and elsewhere. The 2024 edition, Nature vives, addresses environmental issues starting from projects that renew our sensitivity to living and material forms. In the context of the Experimental School, the notion of nature is reinvested by artists through plural and hybrid forms. Natures vives seeks to activate living forms, natural materials as well as waste or industrial residues to give them back their own agency, their undeniable vitality. This project is carried out in partnership with the Maison pour la danse, which will host the Experimental School in its spaces from October 30 to November 3. This partnership is an opportunity to orient this programming towards a hybridization of material and embodied practices. This site uses cookies to improve your browsing experience.
