Exposition Panier de chatons de Josiane Roberge dans la baie vitrée
Complexe Méduse
For a moment, members of a large family are invited to huddle together. Their faces draw closer, their hair and breath intertwine. A timeless moment is created, which we imagine conducive to listening to each other's hearts. Rooted in a relational approach, Josiane Roberge's practice stems from such human experiences that explore the elusive encounter of self and other. It is with this in mind that she brings together people who operate outside the art world to offer them meaningful actions for both them and the resulting image. For Panier de chatons, the artist invited these individuals to create a moment of great closeness. From this lived intimate experience, a monumental photograph is taken which, presented in the urban space, evokes the essential nature of friendships, family relationships, and community. A kind of tribute to the pillars of our lives, this proposal invites us to immerse ourselves in the sweetness that emanates from our most sincere bonds. A nest where it is good to settle together, doze off, find peace. This site uses cookies to improve your browsing experience.
