Workshop: Painting in the Eyes of Thierry Arcand-Bossé at Atelier de la mezzanine

In order to offer professional support to artists, Atelier de la mezzanine, a member of the Méduse cooperative, wishes to leverage its workspace and the expertise of one of its supporting artists. Thierry Arcand-Bossé offers a series of courses based on his professional experience of over twenty years. More in the form of mentorship, these intermediate-level courses are aimed at artists wishing to deepen and perfect acrylic or oil painting techniques (certain conditions apply), improve their practice, or perfect their skills. Throughout the sessions, the artist will explain and demonstrate on canvas the essentials of his method and techniques, inspired by traditional techniques. Since 1999, Atelier de la mezzanine has offered individuals interested in artistic creation learning, experimentation, and production conditions in visual arts, for a clientele living with health issues. A precursor to a movement that believes in the positive influence of art on health, both in prevention and treatment, as revealed by a 2019 World Health Organization (WHO) report, the organization also wishes to participate in breaking down the silos of art and offer opportunities for encounters and exchanges.
