Addition and juxtaposition of a selection of industrial objects and found elements, A Great Tide engages in plural readings on continuity. A commentary on the beauty of the world and overproduction, it primarily posits the act of creation as a space animated by the joy of spontaneity, by exuberance and freedom. Concretely, this exhibition project for Manif d’Art's showcase is an in-situ installation that unfolds using the volume defined by the fenestration. The high-relief presents itself as a large composition where color, the graphic and textured character of the surfaces, and the assembly generate a reinterpretation of matter, form, and space.
