Exposition : Une grande marée (noire) de Hélène Rochette
Complexe Méduse
Addition and juxtaposition of a selection of industrial objects and found elements, A Great Tide engages in plural readings on continuity. A commentary on the beauty of the world and overproduction, it primarily positions the creative act as a space animated by the happiness of spontaneity, by exuberance and freedom. Concretely, this exhibition project for the Manif d’Art window is an in-situ installation that unfolds using the volume enclosed by the fenestration. The bas-relief appears as a large composition where color, the graphic and textured character of the surfaces, and the assembly generate a rereading of matter, form, and space.
