Sharpening Class!
Want to learn how to sharpen your knives like a pro? This introductory course teaches you the basics of water stone sharpening, using the traditional Japanese method. In 1.5 to 2 hours, become self-sufficient and ready to give your blades new life at home. To participate, bring a chef's knife or santoku that needs a little refresh, as well as a 1000-grit whetstone (available in-store if you don't have one). A polishing stone (3000 to 6000 grit) is ideal for even more precise results. With one instructor for every 4 participants, the course is highly practical: 90% of the session is dedicated to honing your techniques (and your blades). Let theory take a backseat and dive straight into action to master the art of sharpening!
