Carac'Terre - Quebec's Ceramic Showcase
The Quebec Ceramists Association presents Carac'terre – 2026 Edition, taking place from July 8 to 19, 2026. We are delighted to continue this 27th edition on the 2nd floor of the Grand Marché de Québec! A unique opportunity to combine local products with tableware and collaborate with a dynamic team that highlights the know-how of local artisans. We are proud to offer you this exceptional showcase of Quebec ceramics and to allow you to meet ceramists from all over Quebec! On the program • Ceramic exhibition and sale at the Grand Marché de Québec • Free event • Epicurean vernissage – Wednesday, July 8, 4 to 6 PM format • Introduction to wheel throwing workshops and parent-child shaping workshops throughout the event Come get your hands dirty with clay! Wheel throwing and shaping activities offered in collaboration with leisure schools from the City of Quebec. Online registration required. • Grand conversation about the ceramicist profession, presented by Rang Nord – July 18 • Conferences and demonstrations • Exhibition of expressive ceramic works • Satellite exhibition at Camellia Sinensis • Finissage – Sunday, July 19 • Contests and surprises! • And of course, the presence of our 22 professional ceramists from all over Quebec, as well as our emerging talent!
