In this concert inaugurating the 25th season of Constantinople, the master of the kora Ablaye Cissoko and the ambassador of the Persian setar Kiya Tabassian have chosen to pay homage to the estuary, this place where fresh water mixes with salt water which evokes passage, renewal, fertility; a space of transition and transformation mixing the currents of their musical memories where unexpected possibilities arise. Alongside them, their long-time accomplice, percussionist Patrick Graham, infuses rhythm and nuance.
