Originally from the Canadian Prairies, Ponteix blends electronic psych-pop, R&B, and indie rock in a universe that is both hypnotic and melancholic. Led by Mario Lepage, the Fransaskois trio presents tracks from its latest album, Le canadien errant (2025), which explores its Francophone roots and cultural identity. Since 2016, Ponteix has performed on numerous stages in Canada and Europe and has won several awards, including the Francophone Artist of the Year award at the Western Canadian Music Awards 2025 and the Song of the Year award at the Trille Or. This show is presented as part of the award for singer-songwriters from the Festival en chanson de Petite-Vallée.
