On August 20, 2026, the CJC will host a performance of "Stories in the City!" by Cirque Les Dudes. A wild and musical circus show! Show starts: 6:00 PM. Free and open admission! Welcome everyone! Show Description Stories in the City is a show where circus and physical comedy, surprises, and live music come together in a mix that is both impressive, funny, and poetic. The duo is complicit and mischievous, drawing inspiration from their personal history, having fun with couple situations while offering a tour of different circus classics: acrobatic lifts, unicycle, Cyr wheel, hula hoop, juggling with balls, pins, or even knives. Everything is brought together to thrill the audience! The show is suitable for all audiences without age limit: a moment of pleasure for young and old alike! Artist Bios and Short Company History Philippe is a graduate of the National Circus School of Montreal. He has performed in "Rain" by Cirque Eloize, in "Psy" by Les 7 doigts de la main, and in the first iteration of the Cirque du Soleil show "Les Chemins invisibles." Senja is a multi-talented artist: music, theatrical improvisation, singing, and circus. She studied applied theatre and theatre directing at Metropolia University of Helsinki (Finland). She hosted a children's television show on Finnish public television Yle from 2013 to 2019. Les Dudes was founded in 2013 by Philippe Dreyfuss and Francis Gadbois (a graduate of the École de Cirque de Québec) who met while working on a Cirque du Soleil production in Quebec City. Their first show "Let's do this!" has been presented over 800 times in 29 countries! Stories in the City follows in its footsteps and has been performed in 16 countries worldwide in over 400 shows. Cie Les Dudes has made people laugh in: Belgium, France, Switzerland, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Poland, Serbia, Croatia, Italy, Finland, Spain, Norway, Austria, Canada, Oman, South Korea, Japan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Netherlands, Denmark, Singapore, Luxembourg, Hong Kong, England, Hungary, Romania, Portugal, Northern Ireland.
